Ever wondered what lies below the waves at our amazing Cape Town rock pools? Join our expert marine sciences educators for a fun and educational exploration and learn about the seaweeds and animals that are found along our coastline. Before meeting you at the rock pools, we will host an online, 1-hour lesson that will explain the basic rocky shore ecosystem, and what animals and seaweeds you will most likely find. This will take place on Thursday, 26 November, at 18h00 via Zoom.
For the outing, our marine sciences educators will be on hand to show you various animals and plants on the rocky shore, and share interesting information as you explore. This activity is family-friendly and suited for children and adults. Parents are responsible for the supervision and safety of their children. We request that all participants keep their masks on at all times, and try and uphold social distancing as much as possible.
With your purchase, you will receive a free month of our online Foundation Crew membership.
